The San Diego Chargers may be forced to relocate to Los Angeles as they're close to exhausting all options in their current market.

"He doesn't have a choice from an economic standpoint, and he knows it," said one ownership source with another club with strong ties to Spanos. "He's as good as gone. He basically told us that he has no choice."

The Chargers have been in San Diego since 1961 but Spanos reportedly "has every intention" of moving the team.

If the Chargers move to Los Angeles, they will share a new stadium in Inglewood with the Rams.
