Todd Gurley didn't back down from his criticism of the Los Angeles Rams, saying they ran a "middle school offense" on Sunday one day before Jeff Fisher was fired.

"At the end of the day," Gurley said, "if anybody seen the game and seen the way we played and seen the whole interview, then you know what I was talking about."

The Rams have lost eight of their last nine games and suffered blowouts in their last three contests. Some believe Gurley's comments led to Fisher's dismissal, but the running back also indicated that the coaching staff wasn't playing on the field.

"I don't think that had anything to do with Coach Fisher [being let go]," Jared Goff said. "I think Todd was emotional. We all are. We're all frustrated. He just made some comments."
