More NFL players are expected to participate in a protest during the Week 3 national anthem following the killing of Terence Crutcher in Tulsa by police.

A white police officer fatally shot an unarmed black man who could be seen raising his hands above his head.

"Several dozen additional NFL players have written me to tell me they plan on taking knee or raising a fist this weekend," wrote Shaun King on Twitter.

Colin Kaepernick began protesting the treatment of people of color during the preseason by sitting during the national anthem and he now takes a knee during the anthem. Several players across the NFL have joined Kaepernick in protest.
