Jay Gruden opted to put Bashaud Breeland, and not Josh Norman, on Antonio Brown during Monday night's Pittsburgh Steelers-Washington Redskins game.

The Monday Night Football matchup was billed in part as a matchup between a star cornerback (Norman) and star receiver (Brown). Breeland was the primary defender on Brown, who caught eight passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns in Pittsburgh's 38-16 victory.

"He's a good corner and he got beat by a great player today, and some great passes that I don't know what corner could defend," Gruden said of Breeland.

Going forward the Redskins will look at the possibility of having Norman shadow the opposing team's No. 1 receiver.
