The Pittsburgh Steelers are aiming to average 5.0 yards per carry this season.

Over the past few years, Pittsburgh has also been looking to average 30 points per game.

"It makes sense, now doesn't it?" guard Ramon Foster said. "I don't see why not. Even if we are close to that, we will win most of our games, and that's what we want. Five yards is great to shoot for."

The Steelers averaged 4.4 yards per carry last season, eighth in the NFL, despite being without Le'Veon Bell for 10 games and Maurkice Pouncey for the year.

"I am not sure who came up with it, but I like it," guard David DeCastro said. "It's a good number. It's a good goal to have. We have a chance."
