Pierre Thomas has signed with the San Francisco 49ers.

Thomas has been out of the NFL this season, though he was close to a deal with the Houston Texans in the offseason.

The 49ers have had several injuries at running back with Carlos Hyde dealing with a stress fracture in his foot, Mike Davis has a broken hand and Reggie Bush has a torn ACL.
