James Jones has agreed to sign with the Green Bay Packers.

"I'm only one year removed," Jones said Sunday shortly after he got off the plane at Austin Straubel Airport. "It seems like 10 years, but time will wait. Get with Aaron. I'm sure they probably have some new stuff. We'll see what happens, but let's make it happen first."

Jones last played for the Packers in 2013, when he caught 59 passes for 817 yards and three touchdowns.

Jones left in free agency the following offseason to sign a three-year, $10 million deal with the Oakland Raiders, who cut him after just one season.

Jones signed with the New York Giants in July but didn't make their final cuts.
