Super Bowl XLIX had a 49.7 overnight rating, which is the highest in the history of the game.

With a close game between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, the ratings stayed high throughout the game.

Last year’s Super Bowl overnight rating was a 47.6 for the Seahawks’ blowout win over the Broncos. 

The Baltimore Ravens win over the San Francisco 49ers received a 48.1 and was the previous high.
