Plans by Stan Kroenke to build a stadium in Inglewood with the hopes of relocating the St. Louis Rams have been met with "quiet applause" in the league office.

The plan was proposed to Roger Goodell in December and should take two steps forward this week.

Kroenke is “amenable” to another team playing at the stadium, something that could help get three-quarters of the other owners to give a green light to a move for the 2016 season.
