Adam Gase met with John Elway on Wednesday morning about the Denver Broncos' head coaching position.

Gase is moving closer to becoming the next head coach of the San Francisco 49ers, but no deal is in place yet.

Gase spent the past two seasons as offensive coordinator of the Broncos.

The Broncos are searching for a replacement for John Fox.
