Jed York, CEO of the San Francisco 49ers, apologized for the play of the team in their 19-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
"Thank you #49ersfaithful for coming out strong tonight. This performance wasn't acceptable. I apologize for that," wrote York.
Jim Harbaugh and the 49ers' front office have reportedly been at odds this season.
"I don't know about tweets," Harbaugh said.
"We will do what we have to do as a football team. Set our jaw to doing that."
York's social media critique did not upset any of the players in the 49ers' locker room.
"It's not acceptable," Colin Kaepernick said of the team's play.
