The Detroit Lions will hire Joe Lombardi as offensive coordinator.

Lombardi has worked with the New Orleans Saints since 2007 and the past five have been spent as quarterbacks coach.

Lombardi is the grandson of Vince Lombardi and will report to Jim Caldwell.
