Aaron Rodgers took first team reps in the Green Bay Packers' practice on Thursday and was named the starter by Mike McCarthy.

Rodgers hasn't played since suffering a fractured collarbone in November.

The Packers have a play-in game on Sunday against the Chicago Bears.

The reps taken by Rodgers were in individual drills as the media didn't see 11-on-11 work.

“Any football player that plays Sunday will have risk," said McCarthy. "We’ve done our due diligence. We feel it’s time for Aaron to play”
