Chip Kelly has heard suggestions that the Philadelphia Eagles could be better off losing games over the remainder of the season in an effort to have a higher draft pick.

"We're all about winning games," Kelly said Wednesday. "If we start planning long term, I might not be here long term."

The Philadelphia 76ers are essentially conceding the 13-14 NBA season in order to have a high draft pick.

"It doesn't come in," Kelly said. "It's about beating Oakland. That's it. It's a one-week season, and that's all there is. Last week, it was beating the Giants. There wasn't, 'Hey, what are we going to be like next year, let's active G.J. (Kinne, the practice squad quarterback) and throw him into the mix.' That's not our mentality."

Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III have quickly improved their respective teams, though the Seattle Seahawks drafted Russell Wilson in the third round and Colin Kaepernick was a second round pick in 2011 by the San Francisco 49ers.
