The Houston Texans came back from a 28-7 deficit well into the third quarter to defeat the San Diego Chargers.

The Texans had a +6.8 advantage in The Trench Counter, outgaining the Chargers by one yard per pass while recording 12 additional first downs. Houston had a +28 edge in Total Rushes/Completions.

Matt Schaub went 34-45 for 346 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Andre Johnson caught 12 balls for 146 balls, while Owen Daniels scored two touchdowns. 

Arian Foster carried 18 times for 57 yards (3.2 average) with Ben Tate sharing the load with nine carries for 55 yards (6.1 average).

Randy Bullock hit a 41-yard field goal as time expired to win the game.

Philip Rivers went 14-for-29 for 195 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. Rivers looked like his former Pro Bowl self at times, but the interception to Brian Cushing deep in their own territory was costly and tied the game.

Ryan Mathews carried 13 times for 33 yards.
