The Kansas City Chiefs are interested in trading for Nick Foles if he becomes available.

Andy Reid became head coach of the Chiefs this offseason and wants to add a quarterback.

Former NFL scout Daniel Jeremiah, now an NFL.com analyst, reported Reid and Chiefs offensive coordinator Doug Pederson, an assistant coach with the Eagles under Reid, "were very high on Nick Foles and his future."

The Chiefs own the No. 1 overall pick but are unlikely to use it on a quarterback.

Alex Smith is also a possibility for the Chiefs.
