The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-23 in what was a must-win game for both teams.

The Cowboys had a -0.8 deficit in The Trench Counter, recording nine fewer first downs but won the turnover battle 2-0. The Eagles had a +7 edge in Total Rushes/Completions. 

Tony Romo went 19-for-26 for 209 yards and two touchdowns, connecting with Dez Bryant and Felix Jones for their offensive touchdowns.

In a game that was tied at 17 heading into the fourth quarter, the Cowboys scored on a punt return, interception and a fumble.

Nick Foles came in for the concussed Michael Vick and went 22-for-32 for one touchdown, one interception and a lost fumble.
