The New York Giants scored 23 straight points to begin the game, followed by 24 from the Dallas Cowboys over the second and third quarter. But it was two fourth quarter field goals from Lawrence Tynes that was the difference to give the Giants a 29-24 victory.

The Giants had a +3.0 edge in The Trench Counter, fully capitalizing on the six turnovers committed by the Cowboys to compensate for their relative inability to sustain drives (3-for-15 on third down). The Cowboys had a +10 edge in Total Rushes/Completions.

Eli Manning went 15-for-29 for 192 yards and an interception, while Ahmad Bradshaw rushed 22 times for 78 yards.

Tony Romo threw for 437 yards on 36-for-62 passing and a touchdown, but had four interceptions.

The Cowboys also couldn't manufacture any type of running game, with Felix Jones gaining just 19 yards on 13 carries.
