The New England Patriots scored 45 points in the second half in their 52-28 victory at the Buffalo Bills.

The Patriots had a +24.1 advantage in The Trench Counter, averaging 9.3 yards per pass, 6.2 yards per rush and 14 more first downs than the Bills. New England had a +13 edge in Total Rushes/Completions.

Tom Brady went 22-for-36 for 340 yards and three touchdowns. Both Wes Welker and Rob Gronkowski eclipsed the 100-yard mark receiving.

But the explosion of the Patriots' running game may be the game's biggest takeaway. Stevan Ridley rushed 22 times for 106 yards and two touchdowns, while Brandon Bolden rushed 16 times for 137 yards and one touchdown, an average of 8.6 yards.
