The Jets and first-round pick Quinton Coples have agreed to terms on a four-year contract. The former North Carolina defensive end, the 16th overall pick, will receive a fully guaranteed deal, according to a league source, for about $9 million. "(I want to show) that I can compete at the highest level, that I can compete on the national stage, that I can help the New York Jets get to a Super Bowl," Coples said recently.
