Peyton Manning is leading on-field workouts for the Broncos, but the quarterback is still deferring to offensive coordinator Mike McCoy for the direction of the unit. "We haven't gotten to that point," Manning said in response to reports Denver has changed to the no-huddle offense with which the quarterback is familiar. "What we are going to do (offensively) here depends on what Mike McCoy decides, based on the players we have, and I'm open to whatever direction that takes." Manning added he never really operated a hurry-up offense with the Colts. It was more "hurry-up-and-wait," he said. "Snapping the ball in a hurry isn't truly what we did all the time," he said. "We had different tempos."
