The Eagles are a hugely disappointing 4-7 and have lost eight of their last nine home games. During Sunday afternoon's loss to the visiting Patriots, fans in Philadelphia briefly chanted "Fire Andy" at Lincoln Financial Field. The Eagles have been coached by Andy Reid for 13 seasons. "It's horrible. You know what type of coach Coach Reid is," tight end Brent Celek said. "You never want to hear that. And I know he doesn't want to hear it, but it's us players that are out there putting a bad product on the field. We've got to pick it up. I mean, we love him as a coach, but we as players have to put the product on the field. "I know the fans are frustrated. I mean, I guess they don't know what else to do. They're paying a lot of money to come to these games and watch us play, and we've got a talented team, and we're just not playing that way." LeSean McCoy, the NFL's leading rusher, defended Reid strongly. "Andy's not going nowhere," he said. "He's a good coach. Everybody knows that. As players we need to fight for him a little more, a little harder. We just have to make plays. Coach can't go out there and play. You know he's not going anywhere. That's just kind of fans talking."
