Eagles president Joe Banner says that Michael Vick's recent extension will make it easier for the team to sign Pro Bowl wide receiver DeSean Jackson to a new deal. Jackson is entering the final year of a four-year deal that pays him the league fourth-year minimum of $600,000. "Is it possible to extend another player?" Banner said. "Is it possible." "We've always tried to keep that confidential. We understand the interest. But I think it's best for players and us to keep whatever conversations we're having confidential." Banner decided to pass on discussing any active talks. "Whatever conversations we're having or not," he clarified. "For me to get into the specifics would be counterproductive. We've been clear that we think DeSean's a great player and we're lucky to have him and we appreciate that he's here now and working as hard as he is."
