Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward, who was arrested for DUI last weekend in Georgia, released a brief statement about the incident on his Facebook page. Ward was booked into the DeKalb County jail in the early morning hours on July 9 before being released on $1,000 bond. "Fans -— I appreciate all the love and support," Ward said in the statement. "Thank you! It means a lot to me. I have a great respect for the legal system and am leaving things in the hands of my attorney." With labor negotiations moving quickly to resolution, Ward also said he was excited about training camps apparently getting underway soon. "I can't wait for football. I've been working out hard. I want to get back to the big show again this year. We have some unfinished business to take care of. So we will be ready to go when we are given the Green light. Here we go!"
