Even members of the Bengals have grown tired of questions about quarterback Carson Palmer's future with the team. Palmer is threatening to retire if the team doesn't trade him. "If Carson don't want to be here, damn him, period, point blank," said cornerback Adam Jones. That was followed by Dhani Jones citing Jordan Palmer referring to his older brother as an ex-teammate: "That tells you everything you need to know. If Jordan is saying that, he knows better than anyone else. I think Carson has had enough and he's ready to move on." Andrew Whitworth, the team's player rep, has also been asked the Carson question umpteen times and admits that even he has become weary of it. And in his case he is ready to move on. "I find it funny people keep publishing this stuff because we have been talking about it since January," Whitworth said. "If he's made a personal decision that he feels is best for him that's great but the same way we respect that, he has to respect we have to move on. I play here and signed to win football games not for anything else. It's not for friends. It's to win and compete."
