Pat White is expected to sign with the Virginia Destroyers of the United Football League, according to the team's official Twitter account. White was Miami's second-round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. The quarterback was believed to be a good fit for the team's then flourishing "wildcat" formation, but he struggled to find playing time in Tony Sparano's system. After his release, White flirted briefly with a baseball career, signing a minor league deal with the Kansas City Royals.
