Clemson defensive end Da'Quan Bowers will forgo his final season of eligibility and declare for the NFL draft. The 6-foot-4, 280-pound junior had 67 tackles and led the nation with 16 sacks this season. "He's excelled in every area," Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said in December. "He's had to overcome some personal tragedy and has still been able to stay focused. He's become the inspirational leader of our team. To see him being honored is really heartwarming for me." RealGM's Jeff Risdon placed Bowers as the fourth best prospect in his recent rankings.
