The Bears have signed long snapper Patrick Mannelly to a two-year, $2.29 million extension. They also rewarded defensive tackle Matt Toeaina, who would have been a restricted free agent, with a three-year extension worth about $6 million. "(My wife and I) have been here for 13 years," said Mannelly, who received a $550,000 signing bonus and will be among the league's highest-paid at his position. "The Bears have been good to me. I don't know if I ever even want to leave Chicago in the future. It would have been hard to go out there and test the market knowing how much I enjoy playing for the Bears."
