The Green Bay Packers have been 'coach killers' twice in 2010, beating the Cowboys and Vikings in games that forced their those teams to fire Wade Phillips and Brad Childress respectively. Mike Singletary has had his job in jeopardy for several weeks, but San Francisco 34-16 loss to the Packers will not result in a coaching change. 49ers CEO Jed York was asked if Singletary would receive a similar fate to Phillips and Childress. "No, we just have to take it one game at a time and get ready for Seattle," replied York. "The margin of error is very, very slim," York said. "But our guys can't give up." Said Singletary, "I coach for my job every week. I never take anything for granted. We got Seattle coming up this week and that's the only thing we're going to think about."
