Vikings quarterback Brett Favre has consulted with the doctor who performed the offseason operation on his oft-injured left ankle, according to a report on NFL.com. Favre, 41, suffered a stress fracture in his left ankle and an "avulsion" fracture in his left heel bone in the Vikings' 28-24 loss Sunday night at Green Bay. Dr. James Andrews did arthroscopic surgery on Favre's left ankle last spring to remove scar tissue and bone spurs.
