Team sources confirm to Ed Daniels of WGNO, ABC 26 and Brian Allee-Walsh of NewOrleans.Com/Sports that New Orleans Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey was rushed to the hospital after apparently suffering seizure-like symptoms during a weight training session at the conclusion of the team's third Organized Team Activity (OTA). Shockey was able to walk under his own power with the assistance of paramedics to a waiting ambulance before he was taken to a local hospital. An eyewitness provided this account to Allee-Walsh. The player asked to remain anonymous because of the sensitive nature of the situation. "It was a little scary; it looked like maybe a mild seizure or a full body cramp or something,'' the player said. "There were a decent amount of guys in the weight room at the time. At first nobody really knew what was going on, but the trainers took control of the situation after a while. "He was shaking and everything, and he was basically out of it for probably a minute or so, but it seemed longer. After he started coming back everything was pretty much all right. He seemed aware and everything seemed OK after a while. He got up and was walking around.''
