The Browns and Rams had conversations just prior to the NFL Draft, according to ESPN's Michael Smith. Cleveland general manager Mike Holmgren is trying to move up to take a quarterback, presumably Sam Bradford. Smith reported just prior to the beginning of the draft that Holmgren spoke with the Rams' front office within the last hour about acquiring the No. 1 pick. The Browns were willing to deal must of their picks in this year's draft and some in 2011 for the pick.
