Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware was taken off the field on a stretcher Sunday afternoon, but coach Wade Phillips says he could play this week. Dallas will face off against New Orleans on Saturday night. Ware suffered a strained neck on the play and was released from the hospital on Sunday night. After he was released, a pair of sources told ESPN.com that the linebacker was likely to miss two weeks of action. "He's actually a lot better today," Phillips said. "He's really in a day-to-day situation as far as where he's going to be as far as being able to play. He took quite a hit, but he's really bounced back really strong. That's encouraging for him and us."
