The Washington Redskins announced Saturday that they have placed tackle Chris Samuels on season-ending Injured Reserve. Samuels sustained a neck injury against the Carolina Panthers on October 11. A 10-year veteran, Samuels played in five games this season and was inactive for the team's last two contests. The six-time Pro Bowl selection has started and played in 141 regular season games since entering the league in 2000.
