Jay Cutler agreed to a two-year extension with the Bears that will keep him with the team through 2013, and a source confirmed it will pay him $30 million in new money. Under terms of the deal, Cutler will get $20 million in guarantees in this two-year extension, the source confirmed. With the possibility of a lockout in 2011, Cutler and his agent, Bus Cook, decided to secure some guaranteed money by getting a new deal. With the new contract, Cutler will make around $50 million over the next five years.
