Braylon Edwards believes that the Browns are starting to buy into new coach Eric Mangini's system. "We're in shape, that's first and foremost," Edwards told the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "We've put the new system in, we got used to the coaches, we definitely got used to coach Mangini and his thought process, what his views are, his goals, his mission statement, the things he lives and dies by. We've memorized those and agreed to them. Now we're just ready to play football." Edwards also believes that the new system gives Cleveland a chance at a new beginning. "With that said, we're going to come out and give it our all under this new system," he added. "And we're going to go out there every day with those values, those characteristics he's instilled in us, that we've bought into every day, and try to utilize those and put those to work and let those show up in our game play."
