Quarterback Jeff George, the first overall pick from the 1990 NFL Draft, is looking to make a return. "I feel like I can still play, and if there's someone out there to give me a shot, that would be wonderful," George, 41, said to IlliniHQ.com. "You look throughout the league, you see 20 teams that need quarterbacks ? 20 teams need starters ? and probably everybody needs a backup. In my opinion, there's just not a lot of quality quarterbacks out there these days." George hasn't played since 2001 when he was with the Redskins, although he spent time on the rosters of the Seahawks and Bears following Washington. He first stated his desire to return to the league in November, but was unable to find a suitor.
