The Broncos, who have been busy since free agency kicked off on Friday morning, have signed veteran safety Brian Dawkins to a five-year, $17 million deal. The contract includes $7.2 million in guaranteed money. The pact also has escalators that could boost the value of the agreement to $27 million over five years. However, the deal also could be voided to two years, $9 million, according to an NFL.com report. Dawkins had spent the previous 13 years of his career with the Eagles.
