T.J. Watt won't need surgery on his torn pectoral and the Pittsburgh Steelers' linebacker is expected to miss about six weeks, according to a source.

Watt had sought out second and third opinions on the injury.

Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that the organization was "encouraged" about the injury outlook for the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.

Watt appeared to suffer a torn left pectoral muscle in the final seconds of regulation on Sunday when he tried to sack Joe Burrow.
