Front office executives from across the NFL expect at least three with possibly four quarterbacks being selected in the first round of the 2022 draft.

Matt Corral of Ole Miss, Pittsburgh's Kenny Pickett and Liberty's Malik Willis will almost certainly each be picked in the first round. North Carolna's Sam Howell and Nevada's Carson Strong each have a chance of going in the first round as well.

Last year, five QBs went in the first round, all before pick No. 16. In 2020, it was four, while it was three in 2019, five in 2018, and three in 2017.

"It's not that close to last year depth-wise, but people need 'em and at least three go in Round 1," said one executive
