A few days after the Detroit Lions traded Quandre Diggs, Darius Slay was still emotional about the move.

"No matter how much you put in, at the end of the day it's a business," Slay said, "so that's how I just look at it. Nobody's safe, in my opinion."

Slay declined to comment when asked if he hoped to remain with the Lions after Tuesday's trade deadline. Instead, the cornerback said he'd be OK playing anywhere and that he wouldn't care whether he was moved.

"Do I want to? Be where else? I'm saying I'm here to play ball," Slay said. "Like I said, it don't matter if I'm here or not. That's what I want to do. I just want to play ball."
