The NFL has suspended Morris Claiborne for the first four games of the season for violating the league's substance-abuse policy.
The cornerback is currently a free agent.
Claiborne signed a one-year, $7 million deal with the New York Jets prior to last season.
The Dallas Cowboys drafted Claiborne with the sixth overall pick in 2012.
