Teddy Bridgewater went down with a non-contact injury during the Minnesota Vikings' practice on Tuesday. Bridgewater was transported to the trauma center where he was diagnosed with a dislocated knee and a torn ACL.

Bridgewater was reportedly grabbing his left knee as teammates prayed around the quarterback.

Bridgewater is entering his third season in the NFL and the Vikings were counting on him to take some major steps forward after a promising start to his career.

Shaun Hill is currently the primary backup at quarterback for the Vikings.

Mike Zimmer said Bridgwater will likely miss the entire season.
