Russell Wilson is already a two-time Pro Bowler and a Super Bowl champion, but his ambitions in sports already extend beyond his playing career.

"I want to be an owner of a team one day, whether it's baseball or football," the Seattle Seahawks star said Tuesday during an interview with the Wall Street Journal. "Maybe even both."

Wilson was a fourth round pick by the Colorado Rockies in 2010 and was also a Rule 5 selection this past December by the Texas Rangers.

Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Mario Lemieux and David Beckham are among the notable sports stars who have owned at least minority shares in major sports franchises.

"The biggest thing is networking, first of all, and doing your job well," Wilson said. "Whenever you do something, do it the best that you possibly can and produce all the time -- whether its playing football or communicating."
