49ers wide receiver Braylon Edwards was fined $50,000 for violating the NFL policy on substances of abuse, the team has announced. The fine is for his arrest for driving under the influence in September 2010 while he was with the Jets. Edwards pleaded guilty in July, but won't face a league suspension. Edwards later tweeted about it. "I guess the good news is out 49er faithfuls, no suspension. I did get fined but I am in agreement and happy to move on," Edwards said via his Twitter account.
