Titans receiver Kenny Britt created quite a stir on Monday with his Facebook fiasco. On Tuesday, he offered an explanation in an attempt to clear some things up via a statement issued to The Tennessean. "I have the utmost respect for Commissioner Goodell, the NFL and the TN Titans," Britt said. "The Facebook posting as reported was not made by myself nor have I given any statements to anyone regarding this matter. It is not a defense but a fact that this Facebook page and associated email account were hacked and reported more than 120 days ago." Britt allegedly posted on his Facebook account Monday that he was retiring from the NFL, and used an expletive toward commissioner Roger Goodell for good measure. A string of apologetic messages followed, when he said he's ready to play this fall.
