Redskins Unlikely To Use Out-Clause In McNabb's Contract
Jul 27, 2014 3:48 PM
The extension Donovan McNabb signed with the Redskins on Monday includes an out-clause that will allow them to release him after the season.
However, Washington is unlikely to use the clause.
The Redskins have no other starting-caliber quarterbacks, there could be a long lockout in 2011 and they're already the oldest team in the NFL.
