One of the lingering reasons why wide receiver Brandon Marshall wants out of Denver is the fact that he remains haunted by the death of teammate Darrent Williams.
In a report by the Denver Post, which references conversations with several friends of Marshall, the Jan. 1, 2007 death is a major reason why the Pro Bowl wide receiver wants to leave Denver.
Marshall reportedly was in an altercation at a nightclub that could have led to the shooting, and he was with Williams shortly before he was killed in a driveby shooting.
