The Titans are out of the playoff picture, but running back Chris Johnson needs 128 yards to reach 2,000 for the season.
Johnson recorded his 10th consecutive 100-yard rushing game on Friday night against the Chargers.
"That record would mean a lot to me," Johnson said. "That was one of my goals that I set before this year started, and a lot of people didn't even think I would get close or whatever."
Johnson needs 234 yards to break Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing record of 2,105 yards set in 1984.
