Daunte Culpepper is determined to outplay rookie Matthew Stafford and be named Detroit's starting quarterback. Culpepper, however, knows that the decision isn't his. "The decision is for the coaching staff," Culpepper told the Detroit Free-Press. "That's not my decision. But I'm very determined." He has participated in a full offseason program for the first time since 2005, and feels both prepared and confident. "Definitely, I feel stronger," Culpepper said. "My feet, my legs, I feel I've finally gotten them back to be the player I want to be, and I feel comfortable."
